As a son of a professional musician, I got my first musicial instrument, a violin, practically at birth. It wasn't just the sound that attracted me, but also its woody taste. But I began to create real music when I was around five on a piano, from which I later switched to accordian, and then to timpani and drums. At the moment I play background fiddle at one song and support Mimi.
I got my first experience as a band member playing country music with 'Broken Spoke'. As a classically trained musician, it was a new experience to play without benefit of a a conductor, or even written notes.
Along with Marc and Mimi, I am the third active founding member of Crawfish. The changes in our musical style, and the love of life, which our music exemplifies, are what makes this musical niche so exciting to me. I am very proud of the evolution of our group; from the first shaky Cajun waltzes, to where we are now, having just completed our third studio album. Let's go on the Chicken Run!
